Andy Burman, who retires as the BDA’s CEO this summer, has been awarded an International Academy of Nutrition Educators Outstanding Achievement Award for contributions to the field of nutrition education.

Lauren is currently the Head of Patient Food Service for ISS UK and Chair of the Food Services Specialist Group. She was awarded an Ibex Award in 2022.

Ruth Wood-Martin has worked as a dietitian since 1983. Now retired, she has worked in a range of settings including the NHS and in sports dietetics. She was awarded the Ibex in 2022.

BDA member and dietitian Anne Mensforth, Home Enteral Nutrition Service, Nutrition and Dietetic Service, Families, Young People and Children’s Directorate, at the Leicestershire Partnership Trust has been awarded an MBE for services to Dietetics in the Queen's Birthday Honours.
