Mrs Nichola Williams
MNutr
I am a registered UK Dietitian and member of The British Dietetic Association Gastroenterology Specialist Group.
I’ve extensive experience of working with people in managing symptoms of digestive diseases such as; Inflammatory Bowel Disease, gastric and colorectal cancer, Diverticulitis, Gastro-oesophageal Reflux Disease, colostomy and ileostomy management, intolerances and IBS. I previously worked as clinical gastroenterology lead for a large acute NHS hospital before embarking into private practice.
I am passionate about gut health and supporting clients to feel well through diet. It is always rewarding to see when positive dietary changes impact quality of life and improve symptoms. I am trained in the use of a low FODMAP diet for IBS by Monash University.
My approach is always tailored to you, the individual. I take into consideration a number of factors such as medical history and lifestyle choices during assessments; one size does not fit all when it comes to diet and nutrition.
You can be reassured that my approach is always evidence-based taking into account the latest research and guidelines in gut health.
I can also support with other conditions such as being underweight, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular heart health, women’s health including PCOS.
Dietitians are trained to diagnose, assess and treat with diet and nutrition a variety of health conditions so please get in touch even if your concern is not listed.
