The Education and Workforce Forum returns!

The forum will bring together those leading the development of the dietetic workforce to share views on how we influence and maximise opportunities informed by national policy. The purpose of the forum is to create a space for face to face networking between HEI’s, Practice Educators and Dietetic Managers from across the Nations with opportunities for your views to be heard.

Leaders from across the four nations have been invited to share national workforce strategies. We are pleased to be joined by

  • Beverley Harden - AHP Lead Health Education England
  • David Wylie - Associate Director NMAHP Scotland
  • Alex Howells - Chief Executive Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW)

The forum is aimed at HEI's, Practice Educators and Dietetic Managers.

Dominic Armstrong, BDA Public Affairs and Policy Manager will host a workshop aimed specifically at dietetic managers to provide tips on public speaking and how to best brief and influence senior leaders within organisations to either inform them on key issues or ensure your activities and needs stand out from the crowd. During the day there will also be dedicated breakout meeting time for HEI and Practice Educators leads.

You will also hear updates from the BDA Education and Professional Practice team on the BDA Dietetic Workforce Development Programme. If you want to help shape the future of the dietetic workforce don't delay in booking your place
