My name is Emily Foster, RD and I'm a nutritionist and registered dietitian focused on helping women create “gut calm” around the menopause with my practice A Gutsy Menopause®.
I work with brilliant women to help them manage and overcome gut challenges related to hormonal changes such as heartburn and indigestion, bloating, constipation, diarrhoea, IBS and SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth). Having dealt with a fair share of gut issues myself I take a holistic approach with my clients and incorporate mindfulness, CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), stress management and sometimes even Reiki into my work.
Other common conditions I also work with women on are optimising their diet for bone health, sleep and blood sugar management - three popular concerns around menopause.
